I’m not a reader. Never have been and I don’t think that I’ll ever LOVE reading either. Audiobooks? Also, not my thing.
However, I made it a goal of mine in early 2020 to read at least 12 books for the year. And yup, I procrastinated on that and 4 months before the year ended, I was scrambling to accomplish this. However, with a mix of fiction and non-fiction two of the books I’ve read this year were standouts and made the biggest impact on my life. I wanted to share them with you.
**Full disclaimer** I know these books already have the hype, but they are hyped up for a reason.
Atomic habits BY JAMES CLEAR.
You can read this book and not make anything of it, but if you apply these small changes to your life, they will make a difference. Everything in this book is SMALL changes. Nothing big is asked of you. Apply a few of these small changes and the cripple effect will occur..
You Are A Badass At Making Money BY Jen Sincero
This is hands down the absolute best book I’ve read this year. This book taught me to stop doubting myself and starting believing in myself, because if you don’t believe in yourself, no one will. I cannot say enough good things about this book. Any self doubt you’ve ever had about yourself will be gone after reading this.
If you have ever had any self doubt, read. this. book.
This stuff works.
